Our 3am Routine

My husband and I developed this 3am routine just recently... On a personal note, I'm used to waking up in the middle of the night checking every door and going to the bathroom. Sometimes, if my husband needs to go overtime at work, he comes home around 3am. Every time he comes home from work around 3am, I always ask him to buy me food. From there, we sit and chat while eating our midnight snack. I don't mind staying up in the middle of the night for him. Well, one of the reasons why I married him is because I enjoy his company. If not sharing food at the dining area, we just lay in bed facing each other and talk some more.

Our conversation always starts by asking each other how our day went. Tough times, good times. Then we reminisce on the good 'ol days, laughing at our most embarrassing moments.Last night, we spent our 3am routine by studying our new laptop.

At 3am, I think we're the only couple who's awake and watching  Blizzard Cinematic Trailers on You Tube. Our night was filled with Wows!, Ahhh!, Hmmm, "Can't wait for that", "We should save for those games". Even the smallest things makes us happy as long as we're in each other's company. My husband was also mimicking some of my mannerisms that made me laugh my heart out. I mean, I didn't imagine I looked so funny. I guess these simple things makes our  life less complicated by the minute. And through these, I can tell that our relationship has moved to a different level. Right now, all we care about is the time given to us. The time we have for each other, regardless of where and how we spend it.

That's sweet! It's nice that despite your busy schedules, you still have time to bond as husband and wife. That makes your marriage stronger and more interesting, I guess.

hi ench! it has been a while since i've been here.

that is a sweet routine.. it warms me to know that there are couples like you who still manage to keep things fresh and intimate in your relationship. at kahit pagod na si papa dolf, i am sure wala lahat pagod nya just spending it with you. importante naman kasi sa marriage ang bonding moments na kayo lang dalawa. it is healthy for a relationship.

take care ench! God bless! mwah!
