Were so suppose to have fun on "Prank Day". But as Yahoo released the news that a deadly computer virus is about to set free on April 1, it made the whole essence of April Fool's nasty. I found about the Conficker Worm through my husband. They've been keeping safe their office's computer system since the rumor came out. It is bound to steal credit card numbers, passwords and other personal accounts. To my understanding, anything that you type or visit or whatever you do with your computer, is going to be copied by the said virus. The creators will get every info.
Malware creators love to target April Fool's Day with their wares, and the latest worm, called Conficker C, could be one of the most damaging attacks seen in years.
Conficker first bubbled up in late 2008 and began making headlines in January as known infections topped 9 million computers. Now in its third variant, Conficker C, the worm has grown incredibly complicated, powerful, and virulent... -source-
Microsoft offers a free online safety scan, which should be able to detect all Conficker versions.
Be extra vigilant on protecting your computers. Make sure your anti-virus software is updated and working. As Conficker may have disabled it already.

I heard about this on the news yesterday. Scary stuff. I made sure that I'm all protected today. Thanks for the heads up.
I've been paranoid about the worm as well I wish they could get these people and put them in jail for a long time.
